Extra texture
After taking a bit of a hiatus from his craft, Bud spent last weekend focused on his photography. Join me, won't you, for a tour of our house through the lens of Bud?
I too love the last picture. Bubba has always loved "setting up" toys. And once I let him use the camera, he loves taking pictures of the ceiling fan, his brother, and his "displays."
This might seem completely off topic----years ago I saw a book in a Cahill and Company catalogue---it was about teaching you to identify different types of bark. Sample were included--Bud's photos made me think of that long-forgotten (and not purchased) tome.
My Nick loves to take pictures too, but they're all of his eyeball. No matter how much coaching and demonstrating I do, he keeps turning the camera around backwards.

The last photo is amazing. I love it. The color, lack of color, framing. Way to go, Bud!

Ditto what Kristen said. It intrigues me and makes me want to follow the staircase to see where it leads...much like Bud himself!
Ooh, the textures!

I love this. M does photos like this and likes to post them. There is something special about them.
it's like a study in wood, the angles, textures, lighting, grade, so interesting!
and, are those reindeer???
These are terrific! I esp like the stairs. He's got a great eye.

Bud's photos truly are abstract art. You could do an art show with his photo collection one day!
Very cool...my fave is the deer one. I could actually see myself buying something like that!
I think the curtains-in-the-window one is quite haunting and beautiful.
They are all so striking - I love seeing what Bud is seeing.
The stairs photo is my favorite. It's neat to see the world through the eyes of Bud.
