"Come see, Mama!" he called after a couple of minutes. I went to the kitchen, where I discovered that he had added all the necessary ingredients to a large mixing bowl:

"Poured" the batter into the tins (he didn't explain, but I imagine this was prompted by observing that ingredients look different after they've been mixed together):
Put them in the (cold) oven and set the timer:
Then got the oven mitts to take them out when they were done:

Scumptious----early Valentine's Day treat?
That's sweet :)
What a great imagination. Lovely. :)
I love the last frame; the little fingers gripping the counter. Those are proud fingers. What an imagination.
Bud is the coolest! That's so great he went through all the steps and substituted items for batter. Congratulations, you must be a very proud mama.
But, but... it's never too late to make muffins!!! :)
Bud's a better imaginary baker than I was. I remember a strange first attempt that involved putting lots of not-very-delicious things like torn up bits of paper into a bowl and when stirring didn't do anything I added pieces of tape to make it all "stick together" like batter does. It didn't occur to me to switch over to any actual food-like items. Good for him!
Now those are some fine looking muffins!
What a great job Bud did.
He is my new Martha Stewart. I LOVE it!!!!!
This is adorable! I like the apple muffin the best.
so adorable!
I think Bud's imagination will serve him well.
