I'm humbled and overwhelmed by the outpouring of support and the depth of understanding that followed my last post. Thank you all. I'm sorry that you understand so well; but I really am thankful that we've all found each other.

Fellow mom-traveller, we are grateful--more than humbed--that we have found you, and sweet, dear Bud.

Thank you for sharing Stealth Grief with us. I am honored to have read this post. Thank you for being brave enough to share some of the most tender, raw emotion we may ever experience as parents. I have burst into tears at the most unexpected times. And it is the stealth grief you describe. There are days when I say to my husband, "I feel like someone is cutting me open and doing surgery, but they forgot to administer the anesthesia." What a comfort it is to be in communication with all these moms, fox hole buddies, strong enough to be honest and real. Thank you again for sharing your stealth grief. May God bless you and hold you close.
